Terry Heard  #153

Terry made his inaugural run at Infineon Raceway. Infineon Raceway is an on the gas track that keeps you leaned over and going side to side, left to right. Race #1 on Saturday was a 30th Place finish in a very competitive class of racing. Great job to grid for his very first time ever on this physically demanding circuit. A circuit with challenging blinds and elevation changes. Terry was a DNS for Sunday's race.


Jay Ruess  #808

Jay made his trek for his run at Infineon. Infineon Raceway is a very technical track and a definite rider workout. Jay took on his challenge and did well. Race #1 on Saturday netted a 26th Place finish in a very competitive class of racing. Great job in Jay making the grid in such a competitive field and demanding circuit. Race #2 on Sunday proved to be a better race day. Jay was in 30th when a scary crash resulted in an immediate Red Flag race stoppage. Jay and his crew to the opportunity to make track side adjustments. Jay at the end of the race took a 20th Place finish.  



Cha Cha Cha Motorsports, riders Terry Heard & Jay Ruess (their teams) are currently in the Monterey, CA area at Laguna Seca Raceway (Mazda Raceway) this weekend. They are qualifying for competition in AMA Pro Racing Daytona Sportbike Series. They will be joining not only other AMA Pro Racers but MotoGP racers as well!

Laguna Seca is well known for it's corners, natural elevation changes as well as the infamous Cork Screw. A good name for a place on the track since Laguna Seca is among some of the most wine rich vineyards in the United States; The Sonoma Valley.


Terry Heard #153

Terry made the grid for this awesome weekend of motorcycle road racing. With very minimal experience on the famed Laguna Seca Circuit Terry found himself starting 33rd on the grid for AMA Daytona Sportbike. Terry, by race end finished 27th. A great finish for him on this circuit for which this was his maiden voyage. Congratulations Terry for your making the grid, finishing the race in 27th and putting your head down, competing with others with so much more in the paddock.


Jay Ruess #808

Jay struggled all weekend long battling the flu. Jay made the grid even while being under the weather. He started 32nd in this AMA Daytona Sportbike competition at the famed Laguna Seca Circuit. Jay through most of the race was able to hold his position. By race end, Jay had fallen a few spots and finished, placing 36th. Congratulations Jay for your making the grid, finishing the race in 36th even when your body wanted to quit. Way to put your head down!
